Chandigarh, December 19:- Haryana Chief Minister Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that the opposition has no issue. The opposition leaders talk about vote theft, while the public has completely rejected the actions of the Congress and their policies, so the opposition is in frustration and they make any statement.
The Chief Minister was responding to a question raised by MLA Mr. Bibi Batra regarding the number of BPL cards during the Question Hour on the second day of the winter session of the Haryana Vidhan Sabha on Friday.
Mr. Naib Singh Saini said that he himself had given a detailed answer in the same House during the last session.
The Chief Minister said that the government had made a process and asked the people to declare themselves that they are below the poverty line and fill their forms themselves. After that, people applied for BPL. He said that at that time in the same house, he said that verification will be done after the elections and the name of whoever is found to be wrong will be deleted, where did this scandal come from.
The Chief Minister said that MLA Mr. Bibi Batra has given a figure of 8 lakh, while in 2022 the number of ration cards was more than 30 lakh. It is not known from where they have got the data. He said sarcastically that what were the conditions during their time, the poor person did not even get goods, the poor person used to watch, other people used to take their goods.
Mr. Naib Singh Saini, targeting the opposition, said that it is surprising that they talk about vote theft. Voting is the right of the people and the public has completely rejected the policies of the Congress.
