Chandigarh 1st November - 5,22,162 women got a benefit of Rs 109 crore 65 lakh 40 thousand 200. The double engine government under the leadership of the Prime Minister is committed to fulfilling the resolutions made during the elections. On the special occasion of Haryana Day, the women of the state got another big gift in the direction of self-reliance and economic empowerment. Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini today released an amount of Rs 2100 each to 5,22,162 eligible women beneficiaries under the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana.
These women got a benefit of Rs 109 crore 65 lakh 40 thousand 200. The guarantee of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the resolutions of Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini are writing a new story of change in the state. In this series, this initiative towards women empowerment is not just a scheme, but a glimpse of the clear policy and clear intention of the double engine government.
The Chief Minister was addressing a press conference organized here today on the occasion of Haryana Day. On this occasion, Heritage and Tourism Minister Dr. Arvind Shabma and Health Minister Kumari Aarti Singh Rao were also present. On this occasion, the Chief Minister and other guests symbolically distributed cheques to 21 women beneficiaries under the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi Yojana
Shri Naib Singh Saini said that the Deen Dayal Lado Lakshmi App was inaugurated on September 25 on the occasion of the 109th birth anniversary of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay I. A total of 6,97,697 women have successfully applied on this app till midnight of October 31, 2025, out of which 6,51,529 are married and 46,168 are unmarried. About 37,735 new applications were received in the 24 hours from midnight of October 30 to midnight of October 31, which is a clear proof of the ever-increasing popularity and public acceptance of this scheme.
He said that all those women of 23 years of age or above whose family income is less than Rs. 1 lakh can take the benefit of this scheme. The special aspect of this scheme is that all the eligible women of the family can take the benefit of this scheme. The application process to avail the benefits of this scheme is completely transparent and online. The application can be done easily from any place at any time through the Lado Lakshmi mobile app.
He said that as soon as the application is completed, the entire verification process is completed within 24 to 48 hours and the eligible women are notified through SMS. In this SMS, they are requested to go back to the same app in the last stage of the application and upload their live photo. With this, e-KYC is done through the Aadhaar database in the next few days and as soon as this happens, the service department allocates the ID of this scheme. He said that out of the 6,97,697 women who successfully applied till 12 o'clock last night, 5,22,162 women were found eligible after that and a congratulatory SMS was sent to them. Out of them, 3,96,983 eligible women had completed the final stage of Aadhaar KYC by that time and the applications of the remaining 1,75,179 women were pending till that time. Thus, today, under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs. 2100 each was released to 5,22,162 eligible sisters and daughters directly in their bank accounts.
The Chief Minister appealed that the women whose final stage of Aadhaar KYC is still pending, should complete it as soon as possible. As soon as this stage is completed, the amount will reach their accounts immediately.
