Santokhgarh/Una, May 14 (Naveen Mahe):– The Congress party has intensified its preparations for the Municipal Council elections. In view of the elections scheduled for May 17, the Scheduled Castes Department of the Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee (HPCC) has issued a list appointing Balram Mahe as the in-charge for Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 of the Santokhgarh Municipal Council.
According to the released list, Balram Mahe—who serves as the Chairman of the District Congress Committee's Scheduled Castes Department in Una—has been entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing electoral activities and strengthening the party organization within the respective wards. This appointment has been made by the party high command with the objective of ensuring better coordination and organizational strength in the upcoming elections.
An atmosphere of enthusiasm is also palpable among Congress workers regarding the Municipal Council elections. Balram Mahe expressed his gratitude for this appointment to State President Jeevan Lal, Working President (Administration) Jeet Ram Panbhar, and the Himachal Pradesh In-charge and Rajya Sabha member, Karamvir Singh Baudh.
