Hoshiarpur: In a press note issued by former Cabinet Minister and senior BJP leader, Tikshan Sood, he stated that the bomb blast near Delhi's Red Fort two days ago, which killed 13 people and injured dozens, was a horrifying terrorist incident. He said that instead of demanding the swift arrest of the perpetrators, uncovering the conspiracy behind the incident, and punishing them, India's irresponsible opposition, after the incident, began issuing nonsensical statements, creating an environment for protecting and emboldening the perpetrators. Praising the actions of the Union Home Ministry and central agencies, including the Delhi Police, Mr. Sood said that reaching the perpetrators of such a major incident in such a short time and initiating action against them is a major achievement in itself.
Mr. Sood said that over the past 10-12 years, opposition leaders have been weakening the country by spewing venom against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, fueling the flames of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism. He said that terrorist acts should be strongly condemned and strict action should be demanded against terrorists.
When perpetrators of such anti-national activities easily obtain bail, it emboldens other criminals as well. The government should enact a law abolishing the right to bail for terrorist criminals, and courts should show no sympathy towards such individuals.
If all those involved in terrorism are isolated from society, terrorism can be largely controlled.
