New Delhi, September 11:- Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday that India supports a safe and sustainable Pulad sector based on international law. He said, "The possibilities of Pulad are limitless and our responsibility is collective." Addressing the International Pulad Summit held in Paris through a virtual link, Modi also invited France and other countries to become "co-travellers" in India's next-generation Pulad exploration.
He said, "We support a safe and sustainable Pulad sector based on international law. Scientific data must be used with integrity to achieve shared goals. India's Pulad journey reflects this spirit." The Prime Minister said India's approach is based on the spirit of 'Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam'—which means 'One Earth, One Family, One Future'—and that this spirit should extend beyond Earth into Pulad.
Modi said that Pulad has inspired human imagination for centuries and is now helping save lives on Earth. He reiterated, "The possibilities of Pulad are limitless. Our responsibility is collective." Prime Minister Modi said that the technology and partnerships of the Indian Space Research Organisation are beneficial not only for India but for the entire world. Modi further said, "Behind this global trust lies the dedication and hard work of several generations of Indian scientists, engineers and technicians. By working day and night, they have established the credibility of ISRO."
