Hansi: A blood donation camp was organized in village Dhani Sankari on Thursday to mark the 26th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed Rajbir Singh. Local youth and villagers participated enthusiastically in the event, contributing to this noble cause of serving humanity.
SDM Rajesh Khoth attended the camp as the chief guest. Social workers and prominent local figures were also present to encourage blood donation. While motivating the donors, the SDM remarked that blood donation is the greatest form of charity, capable of saving the lives of the needy. He urged the youth to come forward and donate blood in large numbers.
A total of 125 units of blood were collected during the camp with the assistance of teams from Hansi Civil Hospital and Agroha Medical College. Great enthusiasm was observed among the youth, and a large number of people donated blood voluntarily. SDM Rajesh Khoth honored the donors by pinning badges on them and commended the organizing committee, stating that such social events help raise awareness and strengthen the spirit of humanitarian service in society. He noted that blood donation not only saves lives but is also beneficial for the donor's own health.
Members of the organizing committee expressed their gratitude to all the donors and guests. Several prominent citizens, including Yashveer Singh, Master Sunil Singh, Dalbir, and Satveer Sangwan, were present on the occasion.
