Haroli/Una, June 9 (Rajveer Chopra): A special Nikshay camp was organized in the village of Beetan under the joint aegis of Health Block Haroli and the MP Mobile Health Service, Haroli, with the aim of taking the 'TB-Free India' campaign to the masses. Villagers participated enthusiastically in the camp and availed themselves of the health services.
During the camp, health screenings were conducted for a total of 117 people, and 105 laboratory tests and X-ray services were provided. Health experts offered free medical consultations, medicines, and essential health-related guidance to the patients.
The health team present at the camp provided detailed information to the public regarding the symptoms of tuberculosis (TB), the importance of timely screening, available treatment facilities, and preventive measures. People were also encouraged to remain vigilant about TB and to undergo immediate testing if any suspicious symptoms appeared.
Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Ruchi, Nihal Singh, Manish, Nitin, Dharmpal, CHO Preeti, ASHA workers, and Anganwadi workers provided their services on this occasion. Local villagers also extended significant cooperation in making the camp a success.
Appreciating the health facilities being provided at the village level by the MP Mobile Health Service and Health Block Haroli, the villagers remarked that such camps enable people to access quality healthcare close to their homes. They expressed hope that such public-welfare programs would continue to be organized in the future.
At the conclusion of the camp, the Health Department team appealed to the public to cooperate in realizing the resolve that "TB will lose, the country will win" and to help make the 'TB-Free India' campaign a success.
