Hansi:- MLA Vinod Bhayana on Thursday formally inaugurated the boosting station built at a cost of about Rs 61 lakh in the Government College. On this occasion, Executive Engineer of Public Health Department Sanjeev Tyagi and many dignitaries of the area were present.
MLA Vinod Bhayana, while addressing the citizens present on the occasion, said that with the construction of this boosting station, sufficient clean drinking water will be available to 5000 people living in Jagdish and Hanuman Colony of the city. Drinking water connections of 1500 houses of these two colonies have been connected to this boosting station.
The MLA said that the citizens living in Jagdish and Hanuman Colony had been demanding for a long time to build a separate boosting station. He said that with the inauguration of the boosting station today, this demand of the people has been fulfilled. He said that modern machinery has been installed in the newly constructed boosting station so that its facilities remain available to the people for a long time.
The MLA said that for a permanent solution to the problem of drinking water in Hansi area, the work of laying pipeline from Bhakra Canal has started. The citizens of the area will start getting Bhakra water in the summer season this year. An amount of approximately Rs 80 crore will be spent on this development project.
