Karnal, July 29: Energy, Transport, and Labour Minister Anil Vij visited former Haryana Industries Minister Shashipal Mehta at a private hospital today to inquire about his health. Mr. Mehta has been unwell for a long time. The Minister prayed to God for his quick recovery and long life.
Speaking to the media, Minister Anil Vij described Mr. Mehta as a companion of the past 50 years. He noted that the former Industries Minister had played a pivotal role in the state's industrial development during the tenure of Chief Minister Bansi Lal. Mr. Mehta is known as a social worker who shares in the joys and sorrows of every family. During the visit, Minister Anil Vij offered words of encouragement to Mr. Mehta's son, Councilor Sanjeev Mehta. He also consulted the doctors regarding the treatment and health progress; the doctors reported that his condition is stable and he has shown significant recovery.
Responding to a question from the media, the Minister stated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi values ??the sentiments of children and has accepted most of their demands. He noted that the Prime Minister had even shared a message at midnight regarding the protest at Jantar Mantar. Although the opposition tried hard to incite the youth, they did not fall for the provocation. He remarked that while protests are a part of democracy, they should not cross the bounds of propriety.
