Nawanshahr - A meeting of party workers regarding the preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections was held at the residence of former MLA Angad Singh. Lok Sabha Member from Sri Anandpur Sahib and former Union Minister Manish Tiwari outlined the responsibilities of the election-related workers. The Lok Sabha member said that people are fed up with the authoritarian and anti-people policies of the Modi government. He said that farmers are protesting on the borders of Haryana for minimum support price guarantee. Similarly, the farmers are also planning the next strategy through the Mahapanchayat and they have been forced to take this step by the BJP government at the Centre. Even many farmers were stopped on their way to Delhi. On this occasion, former MLA Angad Singh, District Congress President Ajay Mangupur, Block President Rohit Choupra, Joginder Singh Baghoran, Sachin Diwan, Amarjit Bitta, Balwinder Singh Bhumbala, Mahinder Pal MC, Unkar Singh Chairman SC Cell, Raman Khosla, Mandeep Thandi, Raja Sabharwal, Praveen Bhatia, Bittu Bajaj, Kewal Singh Khatkar along with all councilors of Nawanshahr and Rahon were present.
