Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, March 30, 2026: Changes have been made to the opening and closing timings of the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital, Phase-6. Providing this information, a spokesperson for the institution stated that the operational hours/OPD timings for the institute/hospital will be from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
This new schedule will come into effect on April 1, 2026. It is noteworthy that the same schedule is already in force at other government medical colleges across the state.
The spokesperson clarified that the new schedule applies exclusively to OPD services, while emergency services will continue to operate round-the-clock, just as before. The window for OPD registration will be from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
According to the spokesperson, the new schedule will apply solely to the Medical College and Hospital, Phase-6; no changes have been made to the timings of any other government healthcare institutions within the district.
