Haroli/Una, April 17 (Rajveer Chopra): A medical camp was organized in Lalri village, within the Haroli Assembly constituency, under the aegis of the 'Sansad Mobile Health Service' (MP Mobile Health Service). This camp was set up by the 'Prayas Society' under the guidance of MP Anurag Singh Thakur, with the cooperation of ASHA workers and Anganwadi workers.
During the camp, a medical team—comprising Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Lab Technician Ruchi Kapila, and Manish Thakur—conducted health check-ups for the villagers. BJP leader Dharmendra Rana was also specially present on this occasion.
More than 100 villagers were examined at the medical camp, and they were provided with free medicines and medical consultation. During the check-ups, patients presenting with various ailments—including high blood pressure, diabetes, joint pain, and high cholesterol—were identified. Necessary laboratory tests were also conducted by the medical team, and free medicines were distributed to patients based on their reports.
Dr. Pradeep Kumar stated that, under the Sansad Mobile Health Service initiative, mobile health vans are currently operating across all five Assembly constituencies of the district within the Hamirpur Parliamentary constituency, in accordance with the directives of Anurag Singh Thakur. These teams visit different villages daily to provide free healthcare services to the people.
He further explained that a pre-determined, village-wise roster is prepared for each month; adhering to this schedule, the teams visit various villages on specific days to conduct health check-ups and provide treatment to the residents. As a result, villagers are now able to access improved healthcare facilities right at their doorsteps.
