Mohali, June 26:- A special felicitation ceremony was organized by the residents of Ward No. 44 in honor of the newly elected team of Mohali Municipal Corporation according to grand traditions. On this occasion, the Mayor, Senior Deputy Mayor, Deputy Mayor and all the councilors were given a grand welcome. The women councilors were honored with special honors by the women of the ward in a traditional manner and were brought to the pandal with honor.
The function organized at Sector 90-91 was attended by the MLA **Kulwant Singh** as the chief guest. This function was organized by the residents of Ward No. 44 under the leadership of State Awardee and District Coordinator of Mukhtar Mantri Tirath Yatra Yojana **Phooraj Singh**.
Addressing the function, MLA Kulwant Singh said that functions have been held at many places in honor of the newly elected Municipal Corporation team, but the warmth and dignity with which the elected representatives have been honored by the residents of Ward No. 44 is unique in itself. Playing the role of stage secretary, State Awardee **Phulraj Singh** shared detailed information about the struggle, public service and political journey of the Mayor, Senior Deputy Mayor, Deputy Mayor and all the councilors.
