Garhshankar:- It is highly condemnable to lift the dialysis machine provided from the MP fund from the government hospital and shift it to another hospital, this view was expressed by Satish Kumar Soni, founder president of Adarsh ??Social Welfare Society Punjab, during a press conference. He said that the state government is proving to be a failure in providing health facilities.
Due to the shortage of doctors in the Civil Hospital, the patients have been facing difficulties. Due to the vacancies of skin, children, bones and women's specialist doctors here, the Civil Hospital is proving to be a white elephant for the poor patients. He said that in the year 2021, a dialysis machine was provided by Manish Tewari, MP from Shri Anandpur Sahib, from his MP fund, which was shifted to a hospital in a condemnable action by the state government the other day.
While it was necessary that staff should be provided to run it and doctors should be appointed on vacant posts, the opposite is happening here. Even if a qualified doctor comes, he is transferred to a distant hospital due to the mutual enmity of political leaders, the patient suffering from the disease coming to the hospital has to bear the consequences and has to fall victim to the loot of expensive private hospitals. From here, about 70 percent of the patients are referred to distant hospitals, due to which most of the patients die on the way.
He said that Adarsh ??Social Welfare Society Punjab through this press note demands from the state government that the vacant posts of doctors in the government hospital should be filled as soon as possible and where the dialysis machine was sent. After investigating this, the dialysis machine shifted from here should be brought back and staff should be appointed to operate it and it should be provided for the service of the patients in need and the practice of referring from the civil hospital should be abolished and every patient should be provided complete treatment here.
