Ambala, July 25:- Former Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda has said that the entire country is demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. He should take responsibility and resign immediately. The demands of the students and opposition parties against the paper leak are completely legitimate, but instead of paying attention to them, the government is trying to suppress them with dictatorship. Hooda was answering media queries in Narayangarh yesterday evening after paying homage to the departed soul of Rajpal Bhukhari, a former MLA from Sadhaura, in his village Bhukhari and sharing his grief with the family.
He was accompanied by Lok Sabha member from Ambala, Varun Mulana. Bhukhari died of a heart attack on the morning of July 20. He was considered close to prominent Dalit leader and former Union Minister Bibi Selja.
In response to a question, Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that under the BJP government, one paper after another is being leaked. That is why students across the country are agitating for reforms in the examination process. BJP has also made Haryana the epicentre of paper leaks. For the last 12 years, Congress, as a responsible opposition party, has continuously raised this issue from the streets to the House of Representatives. He said that Haryana is the first state in the country where people were caught bidding for posts within the recruitment board.
The government pretended to investigate the matter, but neither the investigation report was ever released nor was any action taken against the culprits. This means that both Haryana and the Centre are protecting the paper leaker. In such a situation, the government's accountability should be fixed. Hooda said that if the government, which is now holding cabinet meetings to make new laws, had woken up earlier, the future of lakhs of students would not have been tampered with.
When asked about the assembly results, Bhupinder Singh Hooda said that the BJP won the Haryana assembly elections by stealing the majority. Rahul Gandhi himself has exposed this with evidence. In response to a question about the Narayangarh MLA, Hooda said that the MLA should resign immediately because he has betrayed the party by taking votes in the name of Congress. Let us tell you here that Shelly Chaudhary was accused of cross voting during the Rajya Sabha elections while the MLA said that he had voted for the Congress candidate. After this controversy, rumors of her joining the BJP have been flying.
