Chandigarh, January 30:- The Haryana Government has notified the time-table of house-listing work under Census-2027 in the state. This work will be completed in a period of 30 days from May 1 to May 30, 2026. Along with this, the facility of self-enumeration will also be provided to the citizens from April 16 to April 30, 2026.
While giving information in this regard, Financial Commissioner of Revenue and Disaster Management Department of Haryana and State Nodal Officer for Census-2027 Dr. Sumita Mishra said that this notification has been issued in exercise of the powers conferred under the Census Act, 1948 and the Census Rules related thereto.
According to the notification, this new notification replaces the earlier notification of the Haryana Government dated November 22, 2019. However, it will not have any impact on the works completed and pending before this replacement.
