Chandigarh, November 13- Haryana Government has announced its participation in the Nationwide Digital Life Certificate Campaign 4.0 being run by the Government of India from November 1 to November 30 across the country. This campaign will be run across Haryana to ensure ease and convenience in submitting digital life certificates for pensioners.
Haryana Director General of Treasury and Accounts Department Mr. C.G. Rajni Kanthan said that for effective implementation and coordination of the campaign, Mr. Rakesh Rathi, Joint Director of Pension Distribution Cell (PDC) located in Panchkula has been appointed as the State Nodal Officer while all the Treasury Officers of Haryana (including Chandigarh) have been appointed as Sub-Nodal Officers for their respective districts. Treasury officials have been directed to take all necessary measures for smooth and successful implementation of the campaign.
He said that this initiative will benefit about 2.41 lakh Haryana Government pensioners and family pensioners who receive pension through e-pension through Treasurers/Sub-Treasurers and Pension Disbursing Banks (SBI, PNB, BOI, UBI, CBI, Canara Bank).
He said that the aim of this campaign is to facilitate pensioners to submit their digital life certificates in an easy digital manner, thereby ensuring timely and uninterrupted pension disbursement.
He appealed to all pensioners to take full advantage of this campaign and submit their digital life certificates either at the nearest Treasury office or through the Life Certificate Portal or Mobile App on their smart phones.
