Chandigarh, May 6:- The Haryana Government has decided to identify and collect data on such posts in various departments, boards, corporations and authorities of the state where contract employees are drawing honorarium of more than Rs 50,000 per month.
In this regard, Chief Secretary Mr. Anurag Rastogi has asked all Administrative Secretaries, Heads of Departments, Managing Directors and Chief Administrators of Boards/Corporations/Authorities, Divisional Commissioners and Deputy Commissioners to provide details of such employees who have completed 5 years of service on contract basis by August 15, 2024.
All the concerned departments and institutions have been directed to ensure that they send the required information in the prescribed format to e-mail [email protected] by May 30, 2026. The information sought includes the name of the department/board/corporation/authority, name of the post, number of contract employees working in such posts, whether the post against which the employee is working is sanctioned or not, mode of appointment, monthly honorarium, nature of work, contract period and comments regarding the necessary justification. The Government has directed that these instructions be brought to the notice of all the concerned officers and employees, so that the required information can be made available in a time bound manner.
