Haroli/Una, June 22 (Rajveer Chopra): A special 'Nikshay' camp was organized in the village of Bharsali Upper under the theme "Embrace the message of Nikshay, build a TB-free India." The event was conducted by the 'Sansad Mobile Health Service'—operating under the guidance of MP Anurag Singh Thakur and with the support of the Prayas Society—and the 'Swasth Khand Haroli' initiative. Villagers participated enthusiastically and availed themselves of the health services provided.
During the camp, 82 people underwent health screenings, and 67 laboratory tests and X-ray services were provided free of cost. Additionally, patients received free medicines and necessary medical consultations.
The primary objective of the camp was to connect people with the 'TB-free India' campaign and raise awareness about health. The medical team informed the public that TB can be completely defeated through timely detection and regular treatment. Villagers were also provided with crucial information regarding TB symptoms, prevention, and treatment.
Furthermore, detailed discussions were held on the Ayushman Bharat scheme, the importance of regular health check-ups, a balanced diet, and a clean lifestyle. Villagers consulted health experts to find solutions for various health-related issues.
Dr. Pradeep Kumar, STS Satish Kumar, Gulshan Kumar, Nihal Singh, Manish, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, and Pradhan Jaswant Singh were present and provided their services on this occasion. Everyone contributed significantly to the success of this campaign dedicated to health awareness and public service.
Appreciating the initiative taken by the Sansad Mobile Health Service and Swasth Khand Haroli, villagers remarked that such camps not only provide healthcare facilities but also play a vital role in building a healthy society by raising awareness about serious diseases.
At the conclusion of the camp, the attendees pledged in unison: "We will embrace the message of Nikshay and build a TB-free India."
