Patiala:- Under the Right to Compulsory Education Act and Safe School Vehicle Policy, Career Academy Senior Secondary School Patiala is taking special efforts to make its drivers, nannies and students aware of the safety of students and teachers. ASI Ram Saran of Punjab Police Traffic Education Cell informed the students, teachers and drivers nannies about traffic rules, laws, principles, duties and requested that apart from roads, accidents and punishments can be avoided by following traffic rules at educational institutions, homes, streets, markets.
He said that while parking the vehicle, one should take care of the facilities of others. He told the importance of helmets, seat belts, rear-view mirrors, brackets and necessary documents. Mr. Kaka Ram Verma, Chief Trainer First Aid, Safety, Health Awareness Mission provided training on care of injured, unconscious, heart attack, cardiac arrest victims, first aid CPR, use of fire safety cylinders.
He said that for your safety during wars, avoid rumors, do not pick up or tamper with useless items lying in public places, do not believe unknown people, women, beggars, any such person from outside who come to your house in the neighborhood, and call themselves government employees, doctors, nurses, police, but gather the wise people of the neighborhood and inform the police on 112/181 numbers or at the nearest police station.
He requested that training be given to the educational institutions, the police ambulance, fire brigade, cyber security, the in-charge of the nearest police station and the use of essential helpline numbers. Do not take any food, drink, or anything with a smell from anyone. Awareness was created to avoid kidnapping and cybercrime.
Principal Mrs. Prabhjot Kaur, while expressing her gratitude, said that in order to ensure the safety, respect, happiness, progress, and self-confidence of the students, to boost their morale and to make them responsible and loyal citizens, students, teachers, and parents are made aware as per the guidelines of Director Bhatia Sahib.
