Karnal, January 25: An important organizational meeting of the District Congress Committee Karnal (Urban) was held under the chairmanship of District President Parag Gaba. The meeting discussed in detail the expansion, strengthening, and future strategies of the party organization. On this occasion, the formal announcement of newly appointed district vice-presidents, along with two general secretaries and four secretaries, was made with the aim of further strengthening the organizational structure.
During the meeting, District President Parag Gaba said that the real strength of the Congress party lies in its grassroots workers, and direct communication with the public is not possible without strengthening the organization from the ward to the booth level. He instructed all office bearers to remain active in their respective areas, prioritize the problems of the common people, and continuously strive to resolve them. During the meeting, organizational responsibilities were clearly divided, with each of the four vice-presidents being assigned responsibility for five wards.
Accordingly, Vice-President Binder Poswal was given responsibility for wards 1 to 5, Vice-President Dilsher Singh Dacher for wards 6 to 10, Vice-President Joginder Valmiki for wards 11 to 15, and Vice-President Tarun Chauhan for wards 16 to 20. All vice-presidents were instructed to form strong teams in their respective wards, hold regular meetings, and complete the formation of booth-level committees as soon as possible.
The meeting emphasized the formation of Congress committees at the booth level, disseminating the party's policies and ideology to the masses, connecting youth, women, and social organizations with the party, and maintaining continuous contact with the public. The framework for protest programs regarding public issues in the coming days was also discussed.
On this occasion, District Organizing Secretary Lalit Ahuja gave necessary guidelines to all the newly appointed office bearers regarding organizational functioning, discipline, and the party's principles and policies. He said that the organization can be given new strength only through coordination, continuous communication, and active participation. During the meeting, senior Congress leader Nishchay Sohi also shared his views, stating that the Congress party has always been the voice of the common people, and in the current circumstances, the organization's responsibility has increased even further.
Meanwhile, Media In-charge and Treasurer Sandeep Mahajan highlighted the importance of media management to effectively communicate the organization's activities to the public. At the end of the meeting, all the office bearers unanimously resolved to further strengthen the Congress organization, fight for the problems of the people, and take the party to new heights.
