Garhshankar/Hoshiarpur:- A public meeting was organized by Sardar Jai Krishna Singh Roudi, Deputy Speaker of the Punjab Legislative Assembly and area MLA, in village Binjo, Garhshankar constituency. During the meeting, he met with the villagers, listened attentively to their problems and development-related demands, and directed the concerned officials to resolve them promptly on the spot.
Making an important announcement for the development of village Binjo during the public meeting, Deputy Speaker Sardar Jai Krishna Singh Roudi announced the release of ?25 lakh for the construction of a new Panchayat Ghar in the village. He stated that the Panchayat Ghar is the main center of administrative and social functions in any village, and its construction will provide better facilities to the villagers.
Deputy Speaker Roudi stated that the Punjab government, led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, is fully committed to the all-round development of villages as well as cities. He stated that the government's policy is to resolve people's problems at their doorstep and to ensure no shortages in development work.
He stated that the purpose of the Lok Milan is to establish direct communication between the public and the government, so that ordinary people do not have to run around government offices for their needs. He assured that the remaining development work in Binjo village will also be completed on a priority basis.
On this occasion, the villagers expressed their gratitude to Deputy Speaker Sardar Jai Krishna Singh Raudi and the Punjab government for releasing a grant of ?25 lakh for the village's development. He stated that this amount will be used to construct a modern Panchayat Ghar in the village, which will benefit future generations.
The entire village Panchayat, the Block Pradhan, Aam Aadmi Party workers, and a large number of villagers were present on this occasion.
