Hoshiarpur- Civil Surgeon Hoshiarpur Dr. Balvir Kumar made a surprise visit to Aam Aadmi Clinic Ajnoha and Phuglana yesterday and reviewed the health services being provided there. During the visit, Dr. Balvir Kumar conducted a detailed inspection of the performance of the clinics, patient records, medicine stock and cleanliness.
He checked the attendance of all the staff present on duty and instructed all the employees to be punctual, perform their responsibilities honestly and treat the patients with a good attitude.
The Civil Surgeon also inspected the pharmacy stores and reviewed the list of medicines available there. He said that the availability of essential medicines for the patients should be ensured at all times so that no one has to face any problem due to shortage of medicines.
Dr. Balvir Kumar met the patients who visited the clinics and got information about the health facilities being provided to them and motivated the patients to be aware of the free health programs being run by the government and the availability of medicines.
He asked the staff to ensure compliance with the rules regarding disposal of bio-medical waste and warned that any negligence in this regard will not be tolerated.
Dr. Balvir Kumar said that the aim of Aam Aadmi Clinics is to provide high quality health services to the poor and common people, therefore it is the duty of the staff to treat the patients sincerely and act responsibly in every emergency situation.
