Chandigarh, June 14:- Union Minister of State for Cooperation Shri Krishan Pal Gujjar on Sunday, in a program organized in his office in Sector-28, Faridabad, distributed the registry of 100-yard plots allotted by the Haryana Government to 148 eligible beneficiaries of village Fatehpur Biloch in Faridabad and provided them with ownership rights. On this occasion, special enthusiasm was seen among the beneficiaries and their family members.
Addressing the program, Union Minister of State Krishan Pal Gujjar said that the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the Haryana Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Naib Singh Saini are continuously working for the welfare of the poor, deprived and needy sections. The priority of the government is to extend the benefits of the schemes to the people standing at the last stage of the society and with this thought, many public welfare schemes have been implemented to provide a dignified life to the poor.
He said that for the beneficiaries who have been provided with the registration of plots today, it is not just a document but a guarantee of a safe and dignified future. By getting ownership rights, the families will get social and economic strength and they will be able to move forward towards building the house of their dreams.
He said that under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana being run by the Central Government, so far more than 4 crore pucca houses have been made available to the needy families across the country. He said that in the last 12 years, the double engine government of the Center and the state has started many historic schemes by giving top priority to the welfare of the poor, which have directly benefited crores of citizens.
He said that schemes like Har Ghar Pakhana, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Jan Aushadhi Kendra, Pradhan Mantri Garib Bhalai Anna Yojana providing 5 kg free ration to 80 crore people per month have brought about a comprehensive improvement in the living standards of poor families. As a result of effective implementation of these schemes, about 25 crore people have been able to come out of the poverty line in the last 12 years.
The Union Minister of State said that the Central and State Governments are working with full commitment for the upliftment of the poor, farmers, women, youth and weaker sections of the society. He assured that in the coming times also, the benefits of public welfare schemes will continue to be delivered to the eligible persons in a transparent and effective manner.
