Patiala, August 26:- Due to wrong lifestyle, fast food, junk food, cold drinks and relaxation, the cases of deaths due to heart attacks, cardiac arrest, angina and blue baby related problems while moving and working are increasing even among young children and youth.
Stating that more than 8000 children, youth and other people suffer sudden heart attacks every day in India, Chief Trainer of First Aid Safety Health Awareness Mission Mr. Kaka Ram said that due to not giving proper first aid, CPR and recovery position to the victims on the spot, cardiac arrest can occur and death can occur within a few minutes.
Mr. Kaka Ram, while training all the teachers at Budha Dal Public School under the patronage of Principal Mrs. Harpreet Kaur, told that when the heart gets deprived of oxygen, a heart attack can occur, whereas when the functions of the heart, brain and lungs stop, the victim can die immediately due to cardiac arrest.
On this occasion, Mr. Verma ji taught the methods and techniques to save the victims in cases of blue baby attack, angina, heart attack and cardiac arrest as well as unconsciousness. About 90 percent of the teachers who received the training thanked their Principal Madam and Mr. Kaka Ram Verma and said that the maximum number of deaths in their families, relatives and neighborhoods have occurred due to heart attack, cardiac arrest and unconsciousness.
The teachers said that due to lack of knowledge about life-saving training and its practice, they have been trying to take the victims to the hospital as soon as possible. But the doctors told that if the victims are given first aid, CPR and recovery position immediately, then their lives can be saved. Principal Mrs. Harpreet Kaur thanked them for the training and said that only by providing such life-saving trainings can students and teachers be made helpful angels to the victims.
