Nawanshahr- The local social service organization Blood Donors Council, dedicated to day and night blood bank and laboratory services, has started a service to issue special cards under Rs. 2000 annually. This service was inaugurated by the organization's president S.K. Sareen with his Kar Kamals. Up to 20% discount will be given in tests conducted by BDC, along with this, children of the card holder below the age of 18 will also be able to avail this discount and facility. In case of inability to move within the municipal limits of Nawanshahr, free sample collection facility from home will also be available.
Six special cards were also issued on the occasion during the inauguration ceremony. Apart from SK Sarin, G S Toor, J S Gidda, Parvesh Kumar, Madam Surinder Kaur Toor, Dr. Ajay Bagga, Master Narinder Singh Bharta, Madam Rekha Jain, Noble Sarin, Gaurav Sarin, Manager Manmeet Singh, Dr. Nikita Puri, Madam Prakash Kaur, Sidak Sukhraj Singh, Mrs. Tajinder Kaur, Dr. Sukhwinder Kaur Nagra, Madam Suvaneet Saini, Rajneet Saini, Ira Saini, Sushobhit Nath, Shivika, Mrs. Bhupinderpal Shergill, Madam Sarabjit Canada, Madam Mahinder Kaur Bhatti, Jasbir Singh Ghuman England, social worker Narinderpal Toor, Hitendra Khanna, Madam Shama Malhan and BDC staff were present on the occasion. At the end of the program, the NRI families who contributed to the blood donation services were honored by BDC.
