Haroli/Una, June 23 (Rajveer Chopra): A new committee was constituted today for the Tahliwal Nagar Panchayat. With the formation of this BJP-backed committee, Nirjana Rana was elected President and Raj Kumar Malli was elected Vice-President of the Tahliwal Nagar Panchayat.
Supporters and party workers accorded a grand welcome to the newly elected President and Vice-President, greeting them with garlands.
Those present on the occasion congratulated the new committee and expressed hope that development works in the Nagar Panchayat area would gain momentum.
The newly formed committee pledged to prioritize sanitation, drinking water supply, roads, sewerage, and other public welfare initiatives in the area. Local residents believe that the formation of the new committee will give a fresh direction to stalled development projects in Tahliwal. BJP leader Pruvaram Kumar, Mandal President Anita Jaswal, Ashok Kumar, Arjun Singh, Pawan Beetan, Kamal Saini, Ashok Rana, and Kulvinder Rana, among others, were present on the occasion. The election process was conducted under the chairmanship of Haroli SDM Vishal Sharma.
