Hansi- Aam Aadmi Party has said that due to rising prices of common commodities in the country and the state, life has become difficult for the common man. Due to increase in prices of one thing after another, inflation has reached its peak. In such a situation, the poor man is forced to die bit by bit. In a statement issued to the press, the party's Hansi district president Rajendra Sorkhi has said that the continuously rising inflation in the country during the BJP rule has broken the back of the common man. On one hand the prices of daily needs are increasing, on the other hand the old election promises of the government stand as questions before the public. The price of sugar, a daily need in the kitchen, has skyrocketed. Sugar which was sold at Rs 45 per kg has become Rs 60-65 per kg today. Similarly, the prices of many vegetables including mustard oil, onion, tomato have gone beyond the reach of the common man. The slogan 'Eat dal-roti, sing praises of God' is now also proving to be wrong. Due to the anti-people policies of the BJP government, even dal has gone away from the kitchen of the common man. The rate of dal has also become Rs 150 to Rs 200 per kg.
Aam Aadmi Party's National Council member Rajendra Sorkhi, expressing concern over rising inflation, said that BJP had promised to control inflation before coming to power, but today, going against its promise, it has taken inflation to the sky. Behind increasing inflation, people sitting in power are busy filling their own houses. By sometimes increasing petrol-diesel, sometimes increasing various taxes, sometimes increasing the prices of essential commodities exorbitantly, the government has shown its true face to the public. The direct impact of petrol-diesel becoming expensive is on transport, food items, agriculture and every daily need. He said that if inflation increases further in the coming time, what is the government's plan for common poor and middle class families? Will the poor man continue to be crushed in the mill of inflation like this? The government should take serious cognizance of its old statements and promises. The public does not want speeches, but relief, employment, respect and freedom from inflation.
