Haryana/Hisar: Bajrang Garg, Provincial President of the Haryana Pradesh Vyapar Mandal and former Chairman of the Harirana Confed, stated that the state's traders and industrialists were completely disappointed by the Haryana annual budget. Traders are dissatisfied with the lack of any exemptions on VAT and market fees. Neither the VAT on petrol and diesel was reduced, nor were market fees on vegetables, fruits, and grains removed, while small and medium industries in Haryana are continuously closing down.
There is dissatisfaction with the lack of any concessions to promote small and medium industries in the Haryana budget. Bajrang Garg stated that the state's traders and industrialists had high expectations from this budget. The Chief Minister's suggestions for providing benefits to traders and industrialists in the budget turned out to be a sham.
The Chief Minister has played a cruel joke on businessmen and industrialists by dismissing all those suggestions in the dustbin. While the Haryana government has been increasing its debt every year, burdening the public with debts amounting to millions and crores of rupees.
