Haroli/Una, August 6 (Rajveer Chopra): An Ayushman Arogya Camp was successfully organized today in Sansowal village under the joint aegis of the Haroli Health Block and the MP Mobile Health Service. The camp aimed to provide quality healthcare services to rural residents right at their doorsteps and to raise health awareness among them.
During the camp, people were provided with various health-related information. Additionally, facilities for free health check-ups, the distribution of essential medicines, and laboratory tests were made available. A total of 89 patients were examined (OPD), and 45 free lab tests were conducted during the camp.
The MP Mobile Health Service is a public welfare initiative operated with the support of former Union Minister and current MP Shri Anurag Singh Thakur and the 'Prayas' organization; through this initiative, healthcare services are being delivered to people in rural areas at their doorsteps.
Community Health Officer Ashok Kang, Dr. Pradeep Kumar, Ruchi, Manish, Nihal Singh, ASHA workers, and Anganwadi workers played a significant role in making this camp a success.
Villagers present at the camp appreciated the initiative, describing it as highly beneficial for rural areas, and expressed the hope that such health camps would continue to be organized regularly in the future.
