Patiala- At present and in the future, along with the degrees of students and teachers, there is a greater need for training in safety, first aid, CPR, fire safety during disasters, wars and sudden life-threatening accidents because apart from disasters and wars, terrible life-threatening diseases are becoming the main causes of deaths of children, youth and citizens.
These views were expressed by Dr. Mandeep Singh, NSS in-charge of Gobindgarh Public College, while observing the methods of saving precious lives through disaster management, first aid, CPR, fire safety training and mock drills conducted at the college.
He said that disaster management training for NSS volunteers is very important to save humanity during disasters and sudden accidents.
Therefore, Punjab's experienced disaster management, first aid, CPR, fire safety trainer Shri Kaka Ram Verma has been invited to the college for the last 15 years. He has provided practical training to immediately save the victims of disasters, wars, heart attacks, cardiac arrest, fainting, internal head injuries, internal bleeding, shock, sugar blood pressure drop, fires, gas leaks, electric shock.
Principal Dr. Neena Seth Pajni, Program Officer Dr. Pooja Sharma and volunteers thanked him and said that through such practical trainings, the youth prove to be very useful in saving the victims' helping angels. All the students of Punjab should get these trainings repeatedly.
Shri Kaka Ram Verma was honored as the great revolutionary and selfless senior citizen and disaster management doctor of the century. Who have been providing free training with a selfless spirit for the last 45 years.
