Hansi: Hansi Superintendent of Police (SP) Vinod Kumar, IPS, has appealed to the district residents, especially the youth, to stay away from drugs and adopt a healthy lifestyle. He stated that addiction does not just affect an individual, but impacts the entire family. Drug addiction deteriorates a person's health, weakens their financial status, and often leads them onto the path of crime.
The SP remarked that in the present time, drug abuse has become a serious challenge for society. To protect the youth from this evil, families, society, and the administration must work together. Parents should keep an eye on their children's activities and encourage them toward sports, education, and other positive pursuits.
He mentioned that the Hansi Police is taking strict action against drug peddlers and those involved in the illegal drug trade through continuous campaigns. Severe action is being taken against drug sellers as per the law, and this campaign will continue unabated in the future.
The SP appealed to the general public to immediately inform the police if they have any information regarding the sale, trafficking, or consumption of drugs in their vicinity. The identity of the informant will be kept strictly confidential.
He emphasized that only an aware society can build a drug-free society. "Let us all join hands to contribute to the fight against drugs and provide a safe and bright future to the coming generation," he added.
