Ratia, December 27: A health check-up camp was organized at Gurdwara Sahib Purana Bazaar on the occasion of the martyrdom week of the four Sahibzadas and Mata Gujri Kaur. During the camp, people received health check-ups, free lab tests, and medicines. On this occasion, the doctors and their team who participated in the camp were honored with mementos by the Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Study Circle.
Giving details about the health check-up camp, social worker Happy Singh Sethi said that a team from Thind Lifecare Hospital, led by Dr. Gursimran Thind, arrived at the camp and provided free check-ups and medicines to the people.
In addition, a team from Singh Laboratory, led by Parvinder Singh, also reached the camp and conducted free tests for various diseases, including blood sugar, Hb, uric acid, calcium, cholesterol, etc.
He said that the residents of the area participated enthusiastically in the camp and benefited from it. Sikh history is full of sacrifices. Such an example is rarely seen anywhere in the world, where at such a young age, with such courage and without fear or greed, the Sahibzadas remained steadfast in their faith and sacrificed themselves for society. Therefore, brotherhood and unity should always be maintained, and one should always extend a helping hand to those in need.
