Mahilpur, October 4 – With the aim of providing financial assistance to the people affected by the recent floods in Punjab, the NCC unit students of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur here collected aid money from all the students of the college.
This amount was presented to Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh by the ANO of the NCC unit of the college, Dr. Deepak, and all the cadets of the unit. On this occasion, Pt. Parvinder Singh said that the students have contributed to the rehabilitation of the flood victims according to their capacity and have done a good job for humanity.
He said that such social welfare works done by the students become a guide for the society. On this occasion, Lieutenant Dr. Deepak shared words of gratitude and inspired the students to help the affected people by going above and beyond in such critical times.
