Hoshiarpur- In the inter-district women's U-15 cricket tournament being organized by the Punjab Cricket Association, the Hoshiarpur team defeated Kapurthala by 4 runs and got 4 points. Giving information in this regard, Hoshiarpur District Cricket Association Secretary Dr. Raman Ghai said that in the 35-35 overs match played in Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala won the toss and decided to bowl first.

Batting first, Hoshiarpur scored 111 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 35 overs. The team's vice-captain Ananya Thakur performed brilliantly and scored 50 runs not out. Apart from them, Mehika Thakur scored 17, Dhruvika Seth scored 14 and Pratika scored 12 runs. Pawanjor bowled well for Kapurthala and took 4 wickets.
In reply, Kapurthala's team, which had set a target of 112 runs in 35 overs, was bowled out for only 107 runs in 32.1 overs. During this, Sukhmanleen Kaur scored 64 runs. For Hoshiarpur, Kashvi Rana and captain Dhruvika Seth took 2 wickets each, while Ananya Thakur, Soni Kumari, Anshika and Bhumika Sharma took 1 wicket each.
Thus, Hoshiarpur won the match by 4 runs. During the match, PCA women's selector Gurdeep Minhas was specially present to evaluate the players' play. HDCA President Dr. Daljit Khaila congratulated the team on this victory of Hoshiarpur and wished them well for the upcoming matches.
