Nawanshahr - The Indian Federation of Trade Unions (IFTU) has strongly condemned the arrests and lathicharge of the labor leaders in the name of stopping the train stoppage program of the rural workers. IFTU Punjab State President Kulwinder Singh Waraich and State Press Secretary Jasbir Deep have said that the demands of the laborers should be resolved through dialogue.
They have also strongly condemned the arrest of the staff of Kirti Kisan Union's state office in Jalandhar and the locking of the office. He said that the Bhagwant Mann government of Punjab has also followed the fascist path of the Modi government at the Centre. Protesting is a democratic and constitutional right of organizations. But the Hon'ble government is crushing this right with police repression.
