Una, March 7 - Under the Foster Care Scheme under Mission Vatasalya, at present 118 children in the district are getting the benefit of sponsorship and foster care scheme. Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal gave this information in the meeting organized regarding Mission Vatsalya. He said that under the scheme, financial assistance of Rs 4,500 per month is provided to the children. He informed that till December 31, 2023, 6 new children have been approved under the Sponsorship and Foster Care Scheme through the committee formed in this regard. Apart from this, 18 children have been excluded from this scheme on completing 18 years of age by December 31, 2023.
