
DBU conducted mocktail making competition and workshop
Mandi Gobindgarh, June 13 – Desh Bhagat University, through its School of Hotel Management and Tourism, in collaboration with the Institute's Innovation Council, organized a mocktail making competition and workshop. The objective of the event was to make the students skilled in the art of preparing various classic mocktails and to encourage an entrepreneurial mindset among them.

The objective of the event was to make the students skilled in the art of preparing various classic mocktails and to encourage an entrepreneurial mindset among them.
The workshop conducted under the leadership of Rakesh Ahlawat provided an interactive platform for the students to learn about the intricacies of mocktail preparation. Participants enthusiastically prepared a diverse range of classic mocktails. Dr. Aman Sharma in his inaugural address emphasized the importance of such workshops to hone entrepreneurial skills among students.
Dr SK Patheja, Director, Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) of the institute provided valuable information about the handholding schemes available within the university. Faculty members from various departments also actively participated in the workshop.
