Soon 392 villages of two districts will get freedom from fluoride water

Meanwhile, the DC said that with the help of the World Bank, water will be given to 204 villages in Pabra village of Rajpura and 112 villages in Mandoli village of Ghanour through the surface water project of canal water supply in 392 villages of Patiala and Fatehgarh Sahib. Chairman of the District Jal Swachhta Mission said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government is committed to provide clean drinking water to the residents of the district. Water supply connections have been made available in all the schools of the district. It should be said that in the meeting of the District Water Sanitation Mission held here today, discussions were held regarding the implementation of other major schemes related to water supply and sanitation including Jal Jeevan Mission and Swachh Bharat Mission in the district. On this occasion, the schemes of supply of pure drinking water in the villages of the district were approved under Jal Jeevan Mission.
Meanwhile, provision of clean drinking water through pipes in every house, recharging of rain water, dirty water cleaning arrangements etc. were discussed. 151 schemes of Jal Jeevan Mission have been implemented in the district at a cost of Rs.2649.72 lakh.
