Lawyers condemned the atrocities committed by the central government and the Haryana police on farmers during the farmers' movement

SAS Nagar, February 22 - At the invitation of the Indian Association of Lawyers, the lawyers at the Judicial Court Complex in Mohali today condemned the atrocities being committed on the farmers by the Central Government and the Haryana Police during the ongoing farmers' agitation and demanded that Criminal cases should be registered against the Haryana Police.

The state president of the association Mr. Jaspal Singh Dapar said on this occasion that the farmers of the country have full right to go to Delhi peacefully regarding their problems according to the Indian Constitution. But the way the government has erected roadblocks, the government has no right to do so.

He alleged that a young farmer Shubkaran has been killed by the police and hundreds of farmers have been injured. Haryana Chief Minister and Punjab Chief Minister should take immediate action in this regard.

On this occasion, the executive member of the state unit, Advocate Darshan Singh Dhaliwal, said that Punjab Chief Minister Shri Bhagwant Mann and Haryana Chief Minister Shri Manohar Lal Khattar are personally responsible in this matter and they should immediately resign in favor of farmers. is

They demanded that the roadblocks made by the Haryana government should be removed and the movement of people should be restored immediately. He said that this action of the government is a violation of the human rights of the people. He said that the lawyer community will start a nationwide struggle against these governments.
