Hoshiarpur- As per the guidelines issued by the Punjab Government, a seminar was organized at the Government Senior Secondary School of village Khuda under block Tanda under the War Against Drugs campaign to make the students aware.
Donor Incharge Tanda State Awardee Bhai Barinder Singh Masiti, who came to lead this seminar, specially arrived and was warmly welcomed by Principal Madam Iqbal Kaur and all the school staff and students upon reaching the school.
During this time, Principal Madam Iqbal Kaur and Bhai Barinder Singh Masiti informed the students about the adverse effects of drugs on the human body, they told how a person gradually gets trapped in the clutches of drugs and harms himself and his entire family.
They highly praised the campaign launched by the Punjab Government against drugs and advised the students to stay away from bad symptoms like drugs.
On this occasion, Bhai Masiti told the students that if drug abuse is a problem, then do it for the welfare of the society and serve the country by becoming a good citizen. He also informed the students about eye donation, blood donation and organ donation. On this occasion, Gurpreet Singh, Rupinderjit Kaur, Satbir Singh, Navdeep Kaur, Balvir Singh, Amandeep Kaur, Paramjit Singh, Manjushah, Bhupinder Singh etc. were present.
