Nawanshahr - Mahan Kirtan Durbar dedicated to the birth anniversary of Sahib e Kamal Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji is being organized by the organizing committee at Gurdwara Jhanda Sahib Patsahhi VI village Chak Prema Tehsil Phagwara with the support of all Sangats. In connection with which, today, Vishal Nagar Kirtan was organized from Gurdwara Sahib under the umbrella of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji and under the leadership of Panj Pyaras. This Nagar Kirtan circumambulates the area and ends at Gurdwara Sahib in the evening. During the Nagar Kirtan, International Gold Medalist Kavishri Jatha Giani Joga Singh Bhagowalia and colleagues enthralled the devotees by reciting Guru Yash. During Nagar Kirtan, the Gatka party showed the jewels of its art. This Nagar Kirtan was welcomed with shower of flowers at every place. The Sangat presented beautiful handkerchiefs to Sri Guru Granth Sahib ji in a beautiful palanquin and Guru Bakhshish Siropao to Panja Pyar. In the service of the devotees participating in the Nagar Kirtan, langar of various kinds of fruits and dishes was served incessantly. The organizers made a strong appeal to the whole congregation to attend the Mahan Kirtan Durbar and seek the blessings of Guru Sahib. He said that during the Mahan Kirtan Durbar in the morning after the feast of Sri Akhand Path Sahib, there will be prayers for the good of all. After that the religious Diwan will be decorated. In which cult famous kirtani and ragi-dhadi groups will enthrall the congregation. Tea pakodas and Guru Ka Langar will be served. A large number of people from all over the area participated in the Nagar Kirtan.
