Mahilpur, (January 18) - Nirmal Kutia Fort Brun (Chhota Bajwara) Hoshiarpur Shudd Path recitation and Gurbani Kanth competition is being organized on Sunday 21 January 2024 from 9 am. Sant Mahavir Singh Ji Tajewal informed about this. That the first group will include songs of Japuji Sahib, Rahras Sahib, Kirtan Sohila and Dasam Granth Sahib up to the eighth class. The second group will start from the ninth class.
In this competition, five banis and Dasam Granth Sahib Ji will be included. In the open group, any bani from six to 25 years old can recite Nitnem banis from Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji or Sri Dasam Granth. Pronunciation can also be recited by looking at Gutka Sahib Ji But those who have more vocal and lyrical ability will be considered eligible for prize based on merit. Open group will be out of category of prize. But every contestant will be honored.
The decision of the judging committee will be final. First and second place winners in the first and second groups will be awarded bicycles as prizes.
Sant Mahavir Singh Ji Tajewal said that the main motive of organizing such events is to connect the students with Gursikhi and the ideology of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji from childhood.
