Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, June 10: Language Department, Punjab is active in the development of mother tongue Punjabi as well as other languages. In this regard, Urdu Amooz training is being started from July 1, 2025 in the office of District Language Officer, Sahibzada Ajit Singh.
In this regard, Dr. Darshan Kaur, Research Officer, SAS Nagar informed that the admission and examination fee for Urdu Amooz course starting from July 1, 2025 has been fixed as a one-time fee of Rs 500.
The duration of this course will be 6 months and the class time will be 1 hour per day. A person of any age can enroll in this course. Government officials and employees can also take Urdu Amooz training. The last date for filling the form for Urdu Amooz training has been fixed as 27/06/2025.
Those who wish to take admission can obtain the admission form free of cost from the office of District Language Officer, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, District Administrative Complex, Room No. 518 (A), 4th Floor, SAS Nagar on any working day (during office hours). After filling the admission form, it can be submitted manually to the office by June 27, 2025.
