Adarsh Social Welfare Society Punjab under the Save the Earth, Save the Daughters campaign has given the lohri of new born daughters.

Garhshankar - Adarsh Social Welfare Society Punjab under the chairmanship of Founder President Satish Kumar Soni organized daughter's lohri in village Ror Majara. In which lohri of 30 girls of village Kunail and village Ror Majara were found and they were presented with materials related to lohri, apart from that 20 girls who have left their mark of skills in different fields were honored.

The president of the society, Satish Kumar Soni, said that this is the seventh daughter's event organized by the society under the Save the Earth, Save the Daughter campaign run by the organization. On this occasion, short film actor Dr. Azzi SH G was present as the chief guest, besides Buta Ram, Suresh Sharma, District President Jaspreet Kaur, Media Incharge, Manjit Ram Heer,
Vice President Kiran Bala, Senior Vice President Lakhwinder Kumar, Vice President Manjinder Kumar, President Banga Block Nishan Lal Ladi were present as dignitaries. Punjab Jagdish Rai ji, the chief speaker of this stage management society, performed well and told the importance of daughters, saying that daughters are showing their presence in every field today. Dr. Azee Ash said that a decade and a half ago, daughters were called Abla And they were kept locked up in their homes Now, with the change of time, the same Abla are shining the name of their country at the global level. Lakhwinder Kumar, senior vice president of the society, gave a brief insight into the work of the society so far. Vice President Kiran Bala said that Adarsh Social Welfare Society has opened a sewing center to raise the standard of girls. In which any daughter can learn from here and lead her life well. District President Jaspreet Kaur thanked the mothers and other villagers of the little girls who had come to see their daughter in Lohri.
