Hoshiarpur - District Social Justice and Empowerment Officer Rajinder Singh said that the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment and Minority Department has decided to apply for Post Matric Scholarship for SC Students Scheme and the cases of eligible Scheduled Castes students, which are institutions, sanctioning authorities and Applicators are padding at the department level, Dr Ambedkar Scholarship portal has been opened to verify them.
He informed that Dr. Ambedkar scholarship portal after reformation of all cases sanctioning authority (new and renewal) by educational institutions last date of submission of cases is 8th January 2024, line departments/sanctioning departments for scholarship sanctioning to send proposals online. Last date for authority is 19th January 2024 and last date for line departments/sanctioning departments to send online proposal to welfare department for scholarship is 29th January 2024, so that maximum number of students can get benefit of post matric scholarship scheme.
