150 animals were treated during the animal welfare camp organized at Gaushala Mataur

SAS Nagar, January 16 - Cow welfare camp was organized at Gau Gopal Seva Society (Reg) Sector 70 (Mtaur). The camp was inaugurated by Senior Veterinary Officer Mohali Dr. Rajesh Narang.

SAS Nagar, January 16 - Cow welfare camp was organized at Gau Gopal Seva Society (Reg) Sector 70 (Mtaur). The camp was inaugurated by Senior Veterinary Officer Mohali Dr. Rajesh Narang.

The spokesperson of the organizers said that around 150 cows/heifers/calves were given defecation medicine during the camp. Apart from this, 35 animals suffering from various diseases of the cowshed were treated on the spot by the expert doctors and the cowshed managers, attendants and cow lovers were informed about cow breeding, feeding, maintenance during different seasons and government-run programs. Information about animal welfare schemes was given.

Dr. Harpreet Singh Veterinary Officer Raipur, Dr. Abdul Majeed Veterinary Officer Landra, Mr. Paramjit Singh Veterinary Inspector Mataur, Mr. Harinder Singh Veterinary Inspector Sohana and Mr. Deepak Kumar Sevadar rendered their services during the camp. On this occasion, Mr. Keval Krishna Jindal Chairman, Mr. Harish Dutta President, Mr. Krishna Sharma Manager, Mr. Dheeraj Kaushal Secretary, Mr. Rakesh Arora, Managing Member of the Cow Gopal Sewa Society and from among the dignitaries of Mataur, Mr. Lakhmir Singh Bhalwan, Mr. Harimander Singh Binda, Advocate Devinder Sharma and Charanjit Singh were specially present.
