SAS Nagar, January 16 - The organizing committee of the historical Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan Sohana of Sohana village near here organized a huge Nagar Kirtan in celebration of the birth anniversary of Dashmesh Pita Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji with the support of all the devotees. This Nagar Kirtan started from Gurdwara Sahib Ji and went around the whole area, ending in Gurdwara Sahib.

The Nagar Kirtan was led by five beloved ones. During Nagar Kirtan, Ragi Singhs and Sangat were singing Manohar Kirtan of Gurbani. Students of many schools also participated in Nagar Kirtan. Military bands, school children's bands and many other bands graced the Nagar Kirtan. The entire route of Nagar Kirtan was decorated with welcome gates and prasad of tea, bread cakes, sweetmeats, dry fruits were served at various places by the devotees.

The spokesperson of Gurdwara Singh Shaheed's Management Committee said that on January 20, the auspicious day of the tenth anniversary will be celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm. On this morning, after the Bhog of Sri Sahaj Path Sahib Ji, Sri Darbar Sahib Ji,  Amritsar Ragi Jatha, International Panthak Dhadi Jatha and high-ranking Panth famous preachers will Nihal the Sangats by reciting Hari Jas throughout the day. On this day Vishal Amrit Sanchar will be organized at 10 am. Guru Ka Langar will be served.
