SAS Nagar, November 8- Written letter from sarpanches of twelve villages of Block Derabassi and Rajpura, Rausala, Rajomajra, Chadyala, Ambalala, Humbra, Chanban, Nangal, Manauli, Surat, Khanpur Khaider, Kurali, Karala, Kannur to Deputy Commissioner Mohali. A request has been sent to make proper arrangements for drainage of rain water and flood water from the two roads being constructed by NSAI (which affect these villages through Ghaghar river).

Under the leadership of Satpal Singh Sarpanch Rajomajra, Hansala residents submitted a demand letter to the Additional Deputy Commissioner of the district Mr. Viraj S. Tidke. The sarpanches say that if these roads are built on pillars in the Ghaghar area, rain and flood water will pass without causing any damage. If this is not done, they will always live in the shadow of fear.
He said that the residents of the area have suffered from the flood that occurred in the Ghaghar river on 9-10 July 23 and if obstacles are created in the drainage of rainwater along these roads, then other villages will be submerged along with these villages. .
