SAS Nagar, November 8 -The campaign being conducted by the Health Department to curb the adulteration of food items and the sale of products harmful to health during the festive season. Food Safety Officers Anil Kumar and Ravinandan by the team based on taking sudden action, Nick Baker and Sindhi Sweets were raided in Sector-70  and the samples of suspicious looking goods were sent to the Food and Drug Laboratory for examination. On this occasion, with the team of the health department, under the leadership of DSP City 1 Prabhjot Kaur, SHO Mataur S. Gabbar Singh and the police team were present.

On this occasion, Food Safety Officer Mr. Anil Kumar said that according to the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Mohali and Fed Safety Commissioner Punjab, the goods are being checked at the outlets selling food and drink. He said that while taking action by the team, samples of the Italian food Bklava sold at the showroom of Nick Baker, a famous food shop, were filled and along with this, samples of Chamcham were filled at the shop of Sindhi Sweets. He said that this process of inspection of food outlets will continue continuously.
